The Moon Up Close

I can't imagine one person young or old, rich or poor who hasn't looked up to the sky and look at the Moon. Let me take you a lot closer. Let's explore and admire our silver celestial companion up close.

The Moon is our closest celestial neighbour. With this web page I hope to share my views and fascination for it. The Moon offers a view on some of the most fascinating terrains. The surface while almost frozen in time changes every day by the constantly changing shadows.

Today modern telescopes, high speed cameras together with fast computers allow amateur astronomers to image the heavens to a level that was unheard of only a decade ago.

Enjoy with me a close up view of the Moon.
